UPGRADE YOUR ROTEX

to increase performance, efficiency and cleanliness! We offer several options that can extend the life of your machine, while improving efficiency, cleanliness and performance!

General Purpose to Type A conversions replace your wood screen frame with a metal automatic-tensioning frame. Converting to all-metal automatic-tensioning screen frames improves efficiency, cleanliness and performance. Automatic screen tensioning ensures constant, uniform tension for superior screening accuracy, reduced screen blinding and longer screen life. Totally enclosed design and continuous sealing strips prevent contamination and leakage.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Patented design for attaching screen clothing to screen frames.
  • Unique spring-tension clip design facilitates quick screen change and eliminates the need for spare screen frames.
  • All components are available in heavy duty mild steel, stainless steel or aluminum.
  • Screen clothing changes are fast and easy, reducing downtime.
  • With one-piece design, the automatic-tensioning screen frames are easy to assemble, clean and maintain, greatly simplifying maintenance.

SLIDING INLETS
The ROTEX Slider-Mounted Inlet Connector (patented) permits the connecting sleeve to remain stationary while the screener continues its gyratory motion. This is ideal for applications involving particularly abrasive materials, and provides much longer sleeve life, plus the assurance of reduced downtime and a consistently reliable seal against the environment.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • The sliding inlet/outlet connector is available on all ROTEX Screeners, or can be retrofitted on existing machines.
  • The ROTEX® slider-mounted connector permits the connecting sleeve to remain stationary while the screener continues its gyratory screening motion.
  • A wear cone on the inside prevents material from impinging on the inside of the connecting sleeve and causing undue wear making it ideal for applications involving particularly abrasive materials.
  • A horizontal wear groove shows when to replace the wear ring.
  • Longer sleeve life
  • Wear ring and disk will last for years.
  • Reduces downtime.
  • Consistently reliable seal against the environment.

NUTATING INLETS
ROTEX introduces new long life, dust-tight nutating inlet connector. Our nutating inlets significantly reduce maintenance downtime and improve housekeeping. The unique, patented design consists of a stainless steel cone suspended between two horizontal flexible diaphragms. The diaphragms are located outside the product stream resulting in significantly longer life than molded or fabric sleeves. Eventual failure is gradual and detectable, without product spillage, allowing replacement to be scheduled at a convenient time.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Typical service intervals of 6 months or more
  • No material spillage when connector fails.
  • Dust tight operation.
  • Retrofittable on existing ROTEX® Screeners.
  • Easy disassembly when required for access into screener.
  • Handles up to 50 cfm (1.4 m3m) of feed.
  • Suitable for materials with temperatures of up to 200°F/93°C.
  • Also applicable to other types of vibratory equipment.

Proper clamping of the top cover is important for trouble-free operation of ROTEX® Screeners. The patented compensating clamp makes this easy by providing an indicator that shows the operator whether the clamp setting is too high, too low or correct. Once the clamps are properly adjusted, the clamping force is maintained by a compensating spring.

With all clamps engaged, the indicator on each clamp will show if it is properly adjusted. Incorrectly set clamps can then be individually disengaged and adjusted by turning the handle clockwise to increase the force and counter clockwise to decrease it. Once the clamps are properly set, there is no need for further adjustment.

Features & Benefits

  • Visual indicator confirms proper clamp adjustment and prevents overclamping that can damage components.
  • Uniform clamping force for improved sealing.
  • Correct clamping force restrains screen frames, preventing damage to components and reducing seal wear.
  • Continuously compensates for seal wear and thermal expansion.

For years ROTEX® Screeners have featured screen frames which provide automatic tensioning of the screen cloth with easy to use quick-snap tension clips. Now this design has been further refined to provide continuous sealing, consistent tensioning and has been made even easier to use.

Easy to Use

  • A simple, one time adjustment of the patented roller and bumper system insures proper location of the screen frame even after repeated screen frame changes. No sieve jacks are required.
  • No tools are required to remove or insert the screen frames.
  • Screen and seal changes are quick and easy – tension clips stay in place while changing the wire and new seals simply slide into place.

Improved Sealing

  • A one-piece seal wraps around the corners to prevent material leakage.
  • A wider, more compliant seal provides a tight seal throughout the ROTEX® Screener.
  • The seal will not loosen or pull away from the frame during regular maintenance.

Interchangeable with Existing Designs

  • Available in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
